Jamie, your message of empowerment is so important right now. It's easy to feel overwhelmed and defeated by the constant barrage of negativity, but you remind us that we have the power within us to rise above it. That "tiny spark of 'Go get 'em!'" is exactly what we need to keep going. It's a reminder that we're not helpless victims, but active agents in our own lives. We have the strength, the resilience, and the "Monday Moxie" to face whatever comes our way. Thank you for the encouragement and for reminding us to let our "wild women" shine.

Hey Jamie, I didn’t know women were being deleted from webpages. Wow infuriating. Thank you for your contributions to shifting the narrative by letting your wild woman come forward.

Wonderful piece

I'm sorry to be the bearer of that bad news, Prajna, but the more people who know and feel the outrage, the more chance there is that we can reverse the erasure.

Thanks so much for being here and for chiming in. I so appreciate it! 💜

Oh yes, I agree. Many of my posts bring forth women. I write about and for women. We will not be erased. Did you read my mama story for her 95th birthday? Keep going sister, I’m with you.

Thank you, I love it when you talk shit at the beginning!! I was wondering the same thing about Women’s History Month. I have been planning a post for weeks and just realized the month is almost over! 🤦🏻‍♀️ happy Monday!

🤣 Yep. That's me. Talkin' shit.

And I'm right with you - the month FLEW by. I can't say if I feel like that's a good thing or a bad thing. At the moment, I mostly feel like I'm just hanging on by my fingertips as we careen through this hellscape. BUT ... still finding time to dance! xo

Loved this song since I heard it on Dickinson. I put it on my book playlist. And I relate to it as an autistic woman who has masked myself my whole life.

I had forgotten that's where I first heard it! Thanks for the reminder. I just started rewatching that show. It is an absolute masterpiece. I'm so glad to have shared one of your favorites! 🤩

Love this. Also, horrified by the Trump administration's efforts to erase women, people of color, and gay and trans people from the government's websites.

It's SO petty and cruel and infuriating. I am spitting nails on behalf of the people this regime is trying to erase. The truth will prevail. It has to.

What I love most about these nudges, these reminders of the inner power and unlimited wildness we possess is the honoring of what we know lives underneath even when it is deliberated, devalued, and destroyed at the highest levels. That knowing, that collective fire that cannot be contained, these posts purse the lips of each woman reading and call them to blow. Oxygen to fuel the fire.

Oh yes, mama. Reading your description of blowing oxygen to fuel the fire made me think of that scene from "Practical Magic" (one of my favorites!) in which Sandra Bullock's character blows on a candle to light the flame. Bring on the magic!

Oh my gods, JT. That seems incredibly unfair this late in the season. I'm so sorry and sending thoughts of warm sunshine and major thaw energy your way. Hang in there! (And - totally agree - trembling at the headlines is a perfectly rational response. But we're not done yet!)

Ugh. That's all well and good in December, but not in the last week of March!
