Jamie, I love, love, love this image. Harkens me back to the 60's when, as a treat, we would put the top down on my dad's Oldsmobile and would take a road trip, the wind whipping our hair, as my sister and I were in the back seat. As a kid, nobody seemed to think, oh-maybe we should put a scarf on these girls heads to keep their hair from getting tangled. It usually took a good day or so to work out the nest of tangles and clumps. But that was part of the wildness, the freeing of it was the wind, and hair blowing, and gasoline smell at the pump :)

You paint such a wonderful portrait of that moment in time, Rhaine. Thank you for sharing! There is something about riding in a convertible that makes you feel like a movie star in a mid-film montage about breaking free and starting over, isn't there? Sorry about all the tangles and clumps, but sounds like they were worth it!

PS - I can absolutely see you behind the wheel of a convertible looking devastatingly cool and ready to take on the world. Just sayin' xo
